Why we're different. This clinic is all about convenience.  I've set it up as a walk-in clinic during the regular open hours.  If you need a special time, I can get you scheduled for an appointment during off hours with no problem.  I'm right off the interstate between Corporate Woods and Oralabor on Delaware Avenue so you can pop in on your way to work or on your way home.  Visits are as fast or slow as you need them to be.  I usually schedule about 15 minutes for the visit, but if things are moving fast, the visits can be much quicker.  Like any other clinic, I accept most insurances.  Some insurance companies lock out certain types of practitioners, including most chiropractors (Wellmark Blue Access and Blue Choice plans are examples), so I am one of the unfortunate few who can't take those HMO plans.  For those patients, I have some great maintenance plans that bring the price down and make it very affordable to get adjusted.  Kids plans are available that make it affordable to bring children with you when you get your adjustment.   I'll let you know how many visits I think it will take to get you out of pain and to get you well.  I'll also set deadlines for your body to improve and if those deadlines aren't met, we'll figure out why you still have pain and where you can get the best treatment for your condition, if it's not in this office.  I'll also do all the things that the other good doctors do in their clinics but without the sales pitch.  You are in charge of your health and I want to empower you to take control no matter what office you go into for treatment.  I'll answer your questions with as little bias as I can muster and let you know what I think of other alternative treatments you might be considering.  You will get honest answers about your condition without the hype. I focus on the patient and the relationship that we develop.  I take a special interest in my patients and think of you as friends, while still maintaining a professional demeanor during all physical contact and treatment.  I'm also focused on creating a holistic multidisciplinary clinic at this new site.  I hope to have a full complement of physicians and therapists here in the near future.  If you are a health care professional, I'd like to talk to you about how we can work together to improve patient care and satisfaction.	About Dr. Roy Dr. Roy Lubkeman grew up in Hampton Iowa and has been practicing chiropractic for over 12 years  Dr. Lubkeman attended Palmer College of Chiropractic from 1994 until 1998, graduating with a Doctorate of Chiropractic.  He has practiced in clinics in Clive, Clinton, and Hawarden, Iowa prior to moving to Ankeny.  These experiences have given him a wide variety of experience in treating many different conditions and people of all ages. New patients will require an exam prior to the adjustment to check for problems that could preclude having an adjustment or could make an adjustment less safe.  After that first visit, adjustments can be purchased individually or with prepay amounts.  You can also choose from a variety of co-pay amounts, also, for insurance cases.  Choose the one closest, but over your co-payment and I will refund the difference at the time of your visit.  You can choose multiple units of each payment to create a payment amount that is to your liking.  This is set up as a convenience for you in making payment for services.  I recommend that you print the receipt from paypal after you make your payment and bring it to your adjustment.  I will also be receiving an e-mail notification that you have made the payment, so I will confirm the payment.   Now Available: Credit Card processing for HSA Accounts.  Now you can use your specialized Health Savings Accounts for all chiropractic care.
